Movie Review: CREED II (3 mins read)
Creed is an American sports (Boxing) drama, a sequel of "Rocky".
The movie picture Adonis Creed who had the spirit of boxing in him just like his Father, although he wasn't born yet when his Father died but like the saying goes "blood is thicker than water".
Donnie as he was fondly called was adopted from an orphanage by Mary Anne who raised him as her own.
Though Donnie works in a reputable office, he sees boxing as a passion. To him, there's something about passion you just can't underestimate.
A competition was forth coming and Donnie saw it as an opportunity to prove himself worthy to be a real boxer and to battle with the son of the man who killed his Father.Though Donnie was not trying to fight like his Father, he wants to prove himself better than his Father.
Donnie decided to ask his supposed Father's best friend to train him in the competition. The training didn't look easy, it was a tough one.
Donnie's girlfriend Bianca played her role smoothly, she was an encourager, his advocate, his biggest supporter and cheerleader.
Though hearing impaired she is a singer and they both love each other. Donnie was drawn to her because she always plays loud music at night stealing Donnie's sleep.
The last fight was both emotional and breathtaking, between Donnie and Pretty.
Quite an interesting movie.
